Kick-Off for Fusion Project 

On 14.02 2023, an international conference was held to mark the start of the Fusion project. For this purpose, all project partners met from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the “Haus der Siegerländer Wirtschaft”, to exchange ideas in discussions and workshops about the opportunities and challenges within the individual subprojects of the project. The CPS deals with the design of augmented reality based assistance systems and corresponding qualification concepts for employees in manufacturing within the subproject 2 “Work and Digitalization”. Time for an exchange over good food was provided by the break and the joint dinner after the event.The project will run for 5 years starting in 2023 and is funded with 10 million Euros by the federal-state initiative “Innovative Hochschule”.  More information about the project can be found here: “FUSION – Research-based co-evolution: transformation of the rural industrialized area as a field of action of the University of Siegen”.
