Our offer for students in the winter term 2020/21

The Chair of Cyber-Physical Systems welcomes all students in the winter semester 2020/21 and we are very pleased to present you a wide range of courses again this semester. The offer is especially aimed at students of Business Information Systems and Human Computer Interaction. In the following we will highlight three courses.

Introduction to Business Information Systems (BA):

In the lecture we deal with a general introduction to the broad field of Business Informatics. The basics of application systems, modeling languages, databases and SQL are taught. A good start into the studies.

Current Research in Human-Food-Interaction (MA):

In this seminar we will deal with the current state of research in Human-Food-Interaction. How do humans and food interact and how can we design for news ways of interaction? We are already looking forward to exciting discussions with you.

Prototyping the Internet-of-Things (MA):

First of all – due to the predominantly practical and project-related work, this course will only take place in presence. Unfortunately, an online or hybrid implementation cannot be offered here. But it’s worth the effort: in this course you will be instructed in programming and building hardware on the Arduino platform.

Project-Work in HCI – Various Topics (A-C) (MA):

Here we offer you many different project topics around IoT, AR/VR, End-user Development and Gamification. After a first initial virtual meeting, we offer students the opportunity to work individually or in small teams on one of these topics. The supervision of the students during the semester is on an individual basis.

In addition to this offer, we also offer the supervision of final theses. Further information can be found here
