The goal of RegioQuest is a lasting development of a game-based and location-based system to support the matching of apprenticeship content and places between young people and companies. This should facilitate the integration of the young into the world of work. The system includes a mobile application, which is designed for young users, as well as a web application, which offers companies possibilities to create tasks (so called quests) and thereby to subtly mediate apprenticeship offers as well as first contact possibilities in a playful way. Within the development process, all relevant stakeholders will work together on the question of how access to the apprenticeship market in South Westphalia, as an exemplary model region for all of North Rhine-Westphalia, can be digitally conceived in order to secure the demand for skilled workers in NRW in the long term.
