Vita

Louisa Sauter studied Business Administration with a specialization in Business Information Systems at the University of Siegen. After graduating in 2020, she continued her studies in the master’s program in Human Computer Interaction, which she successfully completed in October 2022.

In addition to her bachelor’s degree, she started in February 2020 as a working student at VETTER Krantechnik GmbH in the department for digital transformation. There, she primarily worked in a research project that dealt with the transfer of competencies in a VR-based environment for work design. In this project, she first wrote her bachelor’s thesis, in which she investigated VR-based competence transfer. In her master’s thesis, she then investigated design alternatives in VR training scenarios for SMEs.

Since June 2023, she works as a research assistant at the Institute of Information Systems. Here she is involved in the projects ATLAS and EDIH.

Her primary research interests include the use of VR and AR technologies in medium-sized businesses and technology-supported learning in operations.
