Embedded in the current consulting landscape and equipped with a pilot function, the Future Centre AI in NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia) is intended to enable companies in NRW to tap into the potential of AI procedures and digital transformation for new and optimised work and business processes.

Therefore, tThe consortium partners will therefore develop practical types of support formats, such as promoting participatory, human-centred work and technology design for the introduction of AI in mediumsizedmedium sized companies and provide advice on this. It is intended to help companies recognise the opportunities offered by AI processes for optimised innovative work and business processes and, with the help of individual qualification, learning and teaching concepts, to develop new forms of work design and support the development of suitable competences.

Understanding and acceptance accepting for artificial intelligence and digital transformation in general and in particular for the planned, described processes are key factors for a successful implementation of the entire project and thus of the Future Centre. The centre functions as a joint working platform with a network character covering all regions of NRW.

Beside the consortium partner “ZENIT GmbH” (Consortium leadership), “DGB NRW” (“TBS NRW”), “Bildungswerk der Nordrhein-Westfälischen Wirtschaft e.V.” (“BWNRW”), “IG Metall NRW”, “IGBCE NRW”, University of Siegen, “FernUniversität Hagen” and “Agentur Mark”, the two key NRW ministries of economics and labour and “DGB NRW” and “Unternehmer NRW” are involved as social partners.
