Dual launch in autumn: BIMPUT and RegioQuest take off
In autumn, two new research projects kicked off for the Cyber-Physical Systems research group.
The BIMPUT project (running until 2024) is a research project that was successful in the BMBF’s funding line “Handwerk 4.0: digital und innovativ” (Crafts 4.0: digital and innovative) with the aim of introducing and developing digital feedback mechanisms for executing crafts in the construction industry to ensure integration into the BIM lifecycle.
Also the research project RegioQuest (running until 2023) started, which is funded by the NRW Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Health within the scope of the South Westphalia Regionale 2025 with resources from the European Social Fund and the REACT-EU initiative. Within the project, location-based and playful approaches are to be developed to raise awareness of the working world in South Westphalia for young people and thus combat the shortage of skilled workers.
