Südwestfalen Digital October 2021

This year’s conference “ Südwestfalen Digital (SWD) “ took place on 07 October 2021 as a digital event. SWD is a series of conferences organized by the Siegen Institute for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and the Center for the Digitization of the Economy of South Westphalia with the aim of creating a platform for exchange on digital topics and the local economy.

Our research group was represented by Julia Nießner and Marco Fries, who presented the research around the project ExPro to the participants. The content was not only the project ExPro itself but also the topic of artificial intelligence in production planning enriched by the topic Explainable Artificial Intelligence and how explanations can support decisions in production.
