‘Nowhere and Everywhere’ – DIS 2021 Recap

This year, from the 28th of June to the 2nd of July, the “Designing Interactive Systems” (DIS) took place as a virtual conference under the theme of ” Nowhere and Everywhere”. Fortunately, our research group was able to publish a paper, which was presented and discussed by Philip Weber at the conference.

As with other virtual conferences in the recent past, all presentations are free to access.

The presentation of Philip Weber, Kevin Krings, Julia Nießner, Sabrina Brodesser und Thomas Ludwig of the paper „FoodChattAR: Exploring the Design Space of Edible Virtual Agents for Human-Food Interaction“ can be watched directly here:

The full paper can be found here.

Considering the fact that the conference was on the verge of not taking place this year (as the organizers communicated to us), the schedule and technical execution was solid and allowed for an adequate presentation and discussion of the various contributions.
