Our group is pleased to receive the first star for the concept of “RegioQuest†within the scope of the “Südwestfalen Regionale 2025â€. ReqioQuest aims to combine location-based services with game elements to make the job and training search for young people more interactive and motivating.
The award of the first star rewards as a first step the concept of a highly innovative idea. Thus, the foundation for a successful funding is laid.
We are delighted about this award and are now developing a detailed realization and a finance concept along with our project partners to receive the remaining two stars and enable the launch of the project.

We are currently looking for a student assistant who can support us in the Rendezfood project with the implementation of a marketing platform in the gastronomy industry.

On July 10th and 11th the conference “Zukünfte KI†took place. Zukünfte KI is a two-day conference about AI in media, politics, society and economy, which is organized by students of the interdisciplinary master program Media and Society at the University of Siegen. For the presentation “Chatbots in business processes” Philip Weber was invited as an expert for chatbots in order to complement the presentation respectively.

The topics are aimed at students of Human Computer Interaction, Business Informatics, Computer Science or with a media or social science background.

From the 4th to 9th May 2019, the ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) took place in Glasgow with around 3800 participants from science and industry. Among them were 25 researchers from different chairs of socio informatics from the University of Siegen. We (Prof. Dr. Thomas Ludwig and Florian Jasche) represented the Chair of Cyber-physical Systems.

At the beginning of this week, the first kick-off event for the EFRE/EU-funded research project Rendezfood took place at the University of Siegen. All participating project partners and lead partners had the opportunity to get to know each other and to present their first approaches.
The entire project consortium, which operates under the leadership of Cyber-Physical Systems, is now looking forward to three promising years of cooperation.

Since August 1st 2018 the new assistant professorship Cyber-Physical Systems is chaired by Prof. Dr. Thomas Ludwig at the University of Siegen.
The subject of the professorship is the conception, design and appropriation of cyber-physical systems.
